today was the last day of attachment. haha it was a super hectic day man. first we had to go early to finish our poster. weishen and i rushed our poster like mad and we finally managed to finish it. just in time as always. haha den there was the rush to fill up the million clearance forms for IME, A*STAR, MOE, etc. den we had to rush to print our poster. there was only one printer that cld print only one poster at a time and there were 6 groups waiting to print. so we had to wait la. and the printer printed damn slowly! it took abt half an hr to print one poster. so we went for lunch den came back and printed our poster. took it down to the lab to cut and den went back up to the lib to take pics. with the girls la. the guys were too busy playing dota. den we went down for the poster presentation. it was damn scary la. im not even that sure of my own proj. presenting it to pple who obviously knew more about it then me was nerve-wrecking. haha was slacking throughout most of the presentation coz not many pple came to our table. maybe they didnt come coz we werent there anyway. lol we were drifting ard and talking to the other groups. haha den after the presentation everybody split up to fill up the clearance forms, take stuff back to the lab, etc and wrap up our time in IME. met everybody back in the lobby later and it was super rush coz we booked movie tickets at vivo for six. so we had to arrive before 530 to collect. at 518 we were still waiting for the security guard to do our clearance. me, nithya, ignatius and chiyin tried to leave first to cab there and collect the tickets but the security guard stopped us! apparently we cant leave the building until they process our clearance. so we had to wait for the other security guard to stroll back with our forms and clear them. when we finally got cleared we ran out to take cab down. cldnt get a cab at first coz that place is so far in from the main road. eventually we saw the rest of them coming out to take bus and we were like shit! it was damn late by den. haha anyway to cut a long story short, we didnt get our tickets for the six o clock night at the museum so we got tickets for the seven o clock show instead. and it was second row tickets. haha the guy at the counter told ignatius "i'm not trying to be funny but twelve midnight tickets are available." haha thats why i hate going to vivo to watch movies. always cannot get tickets. haha but no choice la. IME is so far from everywhere. so we went for dinner den the movie den walked ard vivo being lame and making alot of noise. until we ended up on the rooftop. den the guys realised that there was e-zone so of course we had to go there. but when we got there they decided it was too ex for them. lol. so we went back out and den we discovered a nice spot to play cards. haha its like some deserted corner in vivo with some small stage and everything? and a circle thing thats perfect for 8 pple to sit ard and play daidi. but we had 9 pple den so haha, assholes get to swop. and guess whos always asshole? lol. anyway den we went down to take train home. haha i dunno why im blogging in such detail but oh well. shall post some pics that we took today. afterall, a picture says a thousand words.

i dont like goodbyes. not one little bit.
these few days have made me get the say goodbye feeling again. first our attachment to IME is ending tmr. second today we had a first three months class gathering. reminds me of all the time you gotta say goodbye even when you'd really rather not.
im gonna miss all you guys IME. not so much our supervisors or the librarian (hes name is richie, for the record) or the lib auntie but all you other attachees! im gonna miss the jokes. the sacarsm. the bridge. the daidi. the long lunches. the ot. the arguing. the coin flipping to decide where to go. and we really follow what the coin toss decides. which is quite a rarity for me coz i always seem to decide to go against the coin anyway. i wont miss the dota tho. that took away all my bridge partners! i will miss the 183 gang and the playing cards on the bus on the way home. i'll miss looking out for the turning to clementi mrt after which we only can play black jack. im gonna miss the complaining abt IME. so heres to all the people i had fun with this five weeks. thanks for making the attachment so much more enjoyable. heres to.........

haha i guess thats all. sorry to bore you guys but thats just how it is when im in a goodbye mode. it was the same for after first three months too. but hopefully i wont miss you guys as much as i did after first three months. haha but hey, like glenn always says, what doesnt destroy you makes you stronger.
and we had first three months class gathering today too. eunice and i only came for e dinner but we were so late that when we got there they alr started eating? haha sorry eunice for making you wait for me and sorry guys, lucky you didnt wait for us. we were so late (or rather i was so late) that we missed thongs, saleena, suhaimi, yongshun and james. they left before i got there but eunice saw them in the mrt? haha so we only had dinner with
mark, algae, bentay and cheryl. had steamboat at marina bay. the oil kept splashing! damns scary la. but luckily it was quite a cool night if not we wld have been damn hot. with the fire and everything. anyway it was not bad la. just that the hygiene level there quite low. lol. its nice hearing the lame jokes again. its been so long since we last saw them. haha hopefully we can meet up again soon :) and somehow for some reason algae keeps lagging. hes like always two conversations behind us la. algae! get ur ears checked!
sometimes i wish time will stop so we can be on holiday forever, be having first three months forever, etc. mainly its so good times last forever. but of course time doesnt stop so good times fly by in the blink of an eye and all thats left is memories. we cant stop time slipping from us and making gaps between us. we can only smile when we think of the good times and pray that everyones doing fine.
okay thats all for tonight. gotta get up early tmr and go early coz its the last day! enough of retrospective posts. hopefully my next post will be happier :)

i ran in the standard chartered 10km run today! can you believe it? old lazybones ming running 10km voluntarily. haha but it was fun. and good atmosphere for running too! so many pple running that you dont feel like walking much either. haha encouraging. i actually made it to 6 plus km with stopping. den i saw 100 plus at the drink station and i was like 100 plus!! okay drink first den run. haha. in the end i took 1h 24 min 50 sec! quite happy with my timing actually. my aim was just to complete the run actually since i didnt even train. except for running during trgs. and we dont run anywhere close to 10km. haha so yupp. congrats to everybody who completed the run! esp to
shiyun, shiyun's friend, yifoong and their mum for completing 10km and
their dad and my dad for completing the half marathon and
pie and mei for completeing the kids dash! but i think nxt yr if got pple wanna volunteer with me i rather volunteer. the shirt looks nicer! haha.
anyway after the run we went to amk to have brunch. den it was back home to rest our legs. haha and i slept for nearly 6 hrs after coming back! must be the consequence of waking up at 5 plus and the running. lol. it was quite inspiring seeing the full marathon runners. some of them were pretty old and they managed to complete it. haha its great encouragement to keep going.
okay so tmr its back to work at IME. did you know my cards got confiscated alr? haha can ask me for the whole full exciting story. lol. it was sth that was gonna happen sooner or later anyway. but i hope we get to do more stuff. its kinda sian having to hide from the pple when we play cards. and we still havent been to the lab! think weishen and i are the only pair who havent gone in. even iggy and chiyin have been inside! nvm our turn will come. soon hopefully.
